PRIME MINISTER HAILEMARIAM DESALEGN BOSHE

Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn Boshe is a distinguished Ethiopian leader known for his contributions to peace, economic growth, and regional integration.

After completing his education abroad, he served for 13 years in academic and administrative roles, including as Dean of the Water Technology Institute. A devout family man, he played a key role in strengthening Ethiopia-Somalia relations, focusing on peace, stability, bilateral trade, and investment.

His tenure is also marked by the implementation of the Growth and Transformation Plan (GTP), which led to the development of the Addis Ababa-Djibouti Railway and Ethiopia’s rapid double-digit economic growth.
