PROFESSOR PLO-LUMUMBA

Professor Patrick Loch Otieno Lumumba is a Kenyan lawyer, activist, and Pan-Africanist. He earned his LLB and LLM from the University of Nairobi and holds a PhD in Laws of the Sea from the University of Ghent, Belgium.

He served as Director of the Kenya School of Law (2014–2018) and Director of the Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission (2010–2017). He was also Secretary of the Constitution of Kenya Review Commission.

A passionate Pan-Africanist, he admires leaders like Kwame Nkrumah, Patrice Lumumba, and Thomas Sankara, often advocating for African solutions to African problems. A highly sought-after international speaker, he is known for his bold and insightful speeches.

Beyond law, Professor Lumumba is a Third-Dan Black Belt in Shotokan Karate and has practiced martial arts since 1975.
